HOW IT WORKS
How this random pokemon generator works
Choose one of nine generations, a type, and a team size from one to six. The type filter includes species that have the selected type as either their first or second default-form type.
Press Generate Pokémon to shuffle the matching species and draw without replacement. Draw again for a fresh result, or copy the numbered names for a challenge, draft, sketch list, or friendly team-building game.

DATA & FAIR USE
Pokédex coverage and limitations
The tool uses a fixed snapshot of National Pokédex species #1–1025, covering generations 1–9. It draws species, not alternate or regional forms, Mega Evolutions, or shiny variants. Types describe default forms. Names appear in English on every language version. The list can become outdated when new species are introduced.
Species and type data are derived from PokéAPI. Compare results with the official Pokémon Pokédex for current game-specific details. PokéAPI · Pokédex
Unofficial fan tool. Not affiliated with Nintendo, The Pokémon Company, or GAME FREAK. Pokémon names and marks belong to their respective owners.
